I came to a realization. I used to think, why don't more stupid people get eliminated in the Survival of the Fittest? Why are they around? What do we need them for? But then it dawned on me. Who would work at all the fast-food places and customer service centers if we didn't have these people? They do that stuff so others don't have to- and for that I say thank you. Mmmmm such good fries.

Counterpoint: We should replace dumb people with robots. Dumb people are not necessary.
If we were to actually provide good education, these people would be capable of much more than cooking fries.
The thing is, right now, it's cheaper to hire people than to create a complex machine that gives you fries when you swipe your credit card.
If good education changed that dynamic, you would just have large buildings with vending machines giving you your favorite heart-attack inducing meal.
